    New Rules For 2021-22

The following rules are new for the 2022-23 Season:

      - Starting in 2023, your sleeper-keeper will be eligible to be your keeper the following year. Only your declaired sleeper-keeper is eligible (even if your keeper was a late draft or free agent pickup the previous year).

    FAAB Budget

In a Free Agents Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) waivers system, each manager receives $100 to place blind bids on waived players. The manager with the highest bid at the end of the waiver period claims that player and that bid amount is deducted from the team's acquisition budget. If multiple managers place an equal bid on a player, tiebreak options are available as described above.

      - FAB w/ Continual rolling list tiebreak
      - FAB w/ Reverse order of standings tiebreak
      - FAB w/ Weekly rolling standings tiebreak

    Keeper Rules

Each year you will have the option to retain 1 keeper and 1 sleeper-keeper. Your team roster as of the last week of the regular season from the previous year will be your list of potential keepers. These keepers must meet the following criteria:

      - Keeper: A player who was drafted in Round 3 or later, or a free agent pickup. This player cannot have been a keeper in the previous season (your sleeper keeper IS eligible to be your keeper the following year).

      - Sleeper-Keeper: A player who was drafted in Round 10 or later, or a free agent pickup. This player cannot have been a keeper/sleeper-keeper in the previous season.

      - You ARE NOT required to choose a Keeper or Sleeper-Keeper. If you choose not to select a Keeper, you will receive a draft pick in Round 7. If you choose not to select a Sleeper Keeper, you will receive a draft pick in Round 15.

      - The commissioner will communicate the cutoff date/time for declaring your keeper/sleeper-keepers. This is done to allow sufficient time for all teams to prepare their draft strategies.

    The Draft

Draft Order: Prior to the draft, the comissioner will randomly draw names from the league. This IS NOT the draft order, it is the position selection order. The first name drawn will get to choose their draft position, 1-12. The second name drawn will get to choose their draft position from the remaining options. Etc.

Snake Draft: We use a snake draft approach. The keeper rounds occur in the natural progrssion of the draft process.

    Trade Review

Forced Trades In most cases, trades will have a 1 day review perior for the league to object to prevent preceived collusion. To help promote trading, and avoid issues with trades submitted late in the week, the Commissioner has the authority to force trades through prior to the normal review/approval process for trades that appear fair. The commissioner needs to be notified with sufficient time prior to the games involving the effected players to make tha appropriate moves.
